Andrew Pain is a mental health and resilience keynote speaker who speaks from lived experience of the pressures he addresses – a working dad juggling a business and family, an award-winning campaigner for men and boys, and an advocate for male survivors of domestic abuse. With 25 years' HR experience, he helps organisations transform the mental health of their staff, reduce burnout and build workplaces where psychological safety is real, not just a policy. His talks cover men's mental health, burnout, work/life balance, loneliness and community building in the workplace. As a lived-experience survivor of domestic abuse, he also speaks about domestic abuse, gaslighting, coercive control and gender unity. Organisations who have booked Andrew to speak include Amazon, HSBC, Siemens, Lidl, the NHS, the Crown Prosecution Service, DLA Piper, CIPD, the University of Oxford and RoSPA. He works in partnership as an Associate with leading groups such as West Midlands Employers, Elevo and The Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a TEDx speaker, the host of the Men on Show podcast and the author of Honestly, Man, published by Right Book Press. Men on Show is a hot-topic podcast where Andrew interviews ordinary men with amazing stories. His book, Honestly, Man, is a survivor's evidence-led, compassionate case that many men are struggling – and a clear-eyed roadmap out. All author profits go to charities supporting men and boys. His credentials include CPD-accredited keynote programmes; Member, International Coaching Federation; and Campaigner of the Year 2023, Men and Boys Coalition. Based in Birmingham, UK, he is a happily married dad with 3 boys at home. Andrew speaks and coaches from lived and professional experience.
